"Incredible Rotorua " An afternoon combined tour. We offer free of charge transport to move our Guests from one site to the next.
1) 1300Hrs - "Incredible Rotorua " starts at Ohinemutu Village. Your host will move the high fence of restriction around his village and his home.You will learn about earliest Settlers. The dynamics of the village - birth, life and death. How our family members live amongst the hot springs and utilise this awesome force. Our religions - our songs - our dance. After tasting "nibbles" cooked in a hot spring your host will give you instructions to "board the bus".
2) 1400Hrs - "Incredible Rotorua " arrives at the private residence of World Famous"Guide Rangi". A call of welcome will ring out from the Marae and you find yourself engaged in the ancient ritual of a Maori encounter. Speeches -song and the "hongi" or pressing of nose. Then it is a time of sharing. Your knowledge our knowledge. Your experiences our experiences. Your dreams our dreams. Time will be all too limited when your Host calls you to" board the bus" and he will take you south to the Horohoro Bluffs.
3) 1515Hrs - "Incredible Rotorua " arrives at Waewae dairy Farm. After a safety and orientation briefing (and footwear change if necessary) it is off the milking shed to watch the afternoon milking session. The activities are the same as in most Dairy farms throughout New Zealand. For a short period you will be a subject in the Kingdom of the Dairy Farmer. Other farm animals are nearby - pigs, sheep and dogs. Should time allow your Host will offer refreshments.
4) 1700Hrs - "Incredible Rotorua " experience concludes at Ohinemutu.
